heading for the future!

it's almost 1 am, almost all my stuff is packed and ready to be shiped to INDIA!
Many ppl ( starting vacination doctor, insurance angent, relatives, friends...) asks me how do i feel, am i not afraid to go so far away and for so long (12 month). What can I say-I am not!
Probably I do not realize what is waiting for me there, in another part of the world!

I am bringing my moto- it's all about ppl and it's all about your attitude!

heading for the future....i guess shosholoza would be in scope too:) Next destination- Chennai, India! Year of adventure starts

p.s. insurance lady asked me if I was pushed to go to India or I am doing it on my free will....hahah:))))

YEAH!!! I have visa!:) quite exteme, but I hold it in my hands! ( +i have quite some bad words to say for TNT!!!)

My flight is in two days, I still dont have my passort and visa!
Whats the worst- I cant do much, becuase the emabassy is in poland and they have my passport at the moment, so I cant go there and kick their asses...hrrrrrrrr

The best weekend this year!!!! that's the short version.
Longer one...
All the fun started when I left my cell phone in Alytus!
On Thursday I met Jurga in Vilnius and had some nice time there. It was amazing how we were meeting other friends just on the streets!!! afterwards Rusne,Inga, Minde, Linka, Liudas...nice and cosy chats in Cosy!! Just to mention- thursday was beer night.

Early friday morning we (I+jurga) left to Kaunas...nice lunch in McDonalds and Jurga left to Sweden, I sarted my adventures in Kaunas.
Spend some time in casualty department because Giray, turkish guy had some bussines there;) afterthat all the fun started...all CROWD met in Konradas and tasted that phenomenal dark beer!! I cant tell how happy I was meeting my old friends. Somebody was even joking that I should be leaving more often to bring everybody together!
some key points of Frinday night:
-lots of beer
-many pubs
-many ppl
-walking all around night kaunas
-Aqua dancing in Laisves av. @~ 2 a.m. and we had to guess how the dance is called
-talks untill dawn

Saturday morning breakfast with my friend from school ( no sleep almost) and then lunch with friends...well all the day again:) and the final note- night out with Loreta, one of my roomies:) this time we had girls out- coctails night!!! Manhattan, Cosmopolitan, Cherry sweet, etc...
we were rolling around kaunas pubs...untill everything was closed but we found one option- Jam pub, on the 5th floor in Laisves av.
when elevator opend we saw nice girl puking in the bag...but it was the last opend place...they didnt have coctails there, but it;s not a probelm for us, we made ours:)
Loreta had fight with one suspicious man. met there some friends too:)) well, stayed there untill three...untill they closed.

Sunday chill.....and amlost managed to get the last bus to alytus..
Amazing weekend, with friends, chill, beer+coctails, talks till the dawn, and adventures in between!!!

Two weekd till my adventure starts

Well, in two weeks i will be packing my stuff for a year away! There are plenty of things to do, such as finish vaccinations(very excited about that), get visa to get into India( that's one more interesting story, I am famous for strange things happen to me)since there is no Indian Embassy in Lithuania tomorrow I am sending all docs to Poland and put my fingers crossed to get all docs back on time. I have my ticket purchased already!!!
I have to buy LT flag and other stuff like that..One guy from AIESEC Chennai keeps asking for chocolate ..hehe.
One more thing to be done before leaving to servizu sali ( kodel servizu? pasak Loretos...indija, indai, is indu susideda servizas))))- like a reality show "stars" -Padekos turaspo Lietuva:) mine should be bye bye tour haha...
I know that I am leaving to India, but I guess I still cant realize it till the end in my head...I think I wont untill I land in Delhi or Chennai.

How does NATO work? and Chair of LC Kaunas elections

One more thing that kept me busy all March was simulation game for Lithuanian High shool students"How does NATO work?". I was held in Lithuanian Parliament and one millitary school. I had an opportunity to be a speaker ( I found out that I have to give presentation about TNCs role in politics one day before the event), I was an OC and had some other interesting roles:)

I have never been in millitary school before, this time we were sleeping there (all 3 days I was responsible for 50 kids!!!! and in the millitary school go sleep on time...22.30) morning excerses and other millitary stuff. I am sure there were some future leaders of Lithuania....and some interesting personalities - one girl stated that Caspian sea is an OCEAN?!!! the same girl was crying when she saw the millitary school:)

Leadership seminar in Alytus=)

Spring is finally here! yahoo!!! March was quite busy....

Alytus youth organizations had seminar about Leadership and my old beloved friend Minde was a trainer of this event!!! I got to know Alytus active youth, sent weekend in a nice place near the lake, had time to catch up with Minde. The seminar was useful for personal reflection. great!!
