Today was reading that EC wanna make higher standarts for car safety in europe...while in india...last week i had a small discussion with my colleagues at the office explaining what is Air Bag in the car, how does it work :)

One more good example. In Europe and US it's mandatory to have baby chair in a car...while in india is perfectly fine to bring babies on a bike, together with another 3 ppl

I remember when summer, 2 years back in BXL everybody was going crazy...football world cup ( i guess) was happening and since the city, colleagues at the office and my friends group was multinational- so every night was loud celebrations, and silet sadness. Remember Italians winning- then all italian colleagues brought cakes to the office to celebrate:)
now it's seems there is the same madness in europe...but im safe and far away in inida:) just see friends facebook status meassages changing:)

after something old, something new has come

Life in india keeps me busy. These days Im mostly occupied with my work, and less with a social life. Remember talking to my friends and almost betting that Sex&The City movie wont be shown in India. Loreta was even ready to send me dvd to india:) Thanks to globalization and open minded tamil nadu- the movie is here. last week i went to see it. What can i say- movie is not thaaaaaaaaaat great, but i had a good time watching it...probably because it was continuation of old and well know story, and second reason- im stucked in india and this not that great movie brings nice and good emotions about " the other" world.

India is just great for ones who love fruit and vegetable. water mellon seasson has just finished, endless tender coconut seasson, and now mango is everywhere...all fruit stands on the streets, shops. recently discovered that there is one mango tree just inftont of my balcony:)

concept of strike?

What a lovely Saturday....first of all after all long and hard working week, today was at the office again. well, today auto drivers decided to go on a strike!!!! oh, yeah, my lucky day! in the morning it took nearly 1 hr to hunt an auto driver. and on the way from work, more than half an hour! it all would be fine. but all these terrible and arogant drivers asking for enormus amout for a ride, prowdly telling- we are striking today! SO STIRKE -not cheat ppl!!!! I think they just have different idea what strike is.hrrrrrrrr....by the end of the day, my head was exploding, having fever and still fighting with auto drivers!!!! hrrrr...but the nice thing happend-one guy stopped his car and helped me to get an auto:)

how Lithuania is famous in Tamil Nadu

Yes, of course, Im one of two representatives of all country here in Chennai, but this time not about that.
Yesterday my colleague told that saw some news about Lithuania in tamil news!! I couldnt think of anything what would be interesting to show on tamil news about Lithuania? Discussion about sending our troops to Iraq? Leo LT? Eurovision song contest? ( well, our participant was very much not indian style...)....so, the piece of news was- babies crawling competition in Lithuania last weekend!!!!!
so two apparently there are two things down here promoting LT: me and babies:)
